Are you in town for the 2017 Boston Marathon on April 17th?

Welcome to the Marathon’Hub’ of the modern world – Boston; in the Wonderful Name of our Risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Your presence at Easter Sunday Worship with us this year on April 16th at either the 8AM or 11AM services would be such a blessing to us as we were one of the closest churches to the ‘bombing’ 2013 as well as the hosts of the “Comfort Dogs” and their handlers as our city recovered from that cruel attack.

But we are “Boston Strong for Christ” and have every intention of celebrating this year’s Marathon with a vigor second only to the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection! So please come join the many runners at either service, or after the race on Monday for a visit with the comfort dogs.  First Lutheran’s arms and hearts are open to you as we wish you a wonderful experience with us in this our 178th year of existence as a congregation!

Yours in Christ, Pastor Ingo R Dutzmann

PS please let us know if we can be of help to you in any way. You can contact us here

For those who are interested in helping We’re looking for volunteers to bake some treats and, on race day, to help distribute them. Take a shift between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. or so or spend the whole day. We’re working on parking in our lot for visiting canines and volunteers and will try to accommodate all who show up.
